About the Book

Eat to Beat Disease

This book was born from those countless consultations where patients would ask, “Doctor, what exactly should I eat?” And I realized that while prescriptions are written in minutes, practical dietary guidance is rarely explained in a structured and accessible way. Eat to Beat Disease is my sincere attempt to bridge that gap. This is not a book of extreme diets or complicated nutritional theories. It is a practical, evidence-based guide designed to help individuals understand what to eat in common metabolic and medical conditions — along with simple, realistic recipes that can be incorporated into Indian households. I firmly believe that food is not merely fuel; it is information for our cells. Every meal has the potential either to aggravate disease or to promote healing. When chosen wisely, food becomes the most natural form of preventive medicine. Lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and metabolic disorders are rising rapidly in modern society. This book aims to create awareness about these conditions and empower readers with simple, practical strategies to prevent and manage them. Through clear explanations and evidence-based guidance, the book highlights the importance of nutrition, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle habits in maintaining long-term health. It is written to help individuals and families understand the science behind metabolic health and make informed decisions for a healthier future.

"""A must-read for every household! What I loved most is how the book connects modern medical science with everyday eating habits. The condition-wise diet plans are extremely helpful, especially for people dealing with thyroid and PCOS issues like me. It doesn’t force strict dieting but encourages sustainable lifestyle changes. Highly recommended for anyone serious about long-term health."" "
